The Sovereign was a powerful being who was once a king of Earth. He and his family were killed by a wielder of the Darkness over 4,000 years ago.
Personality[]
The Sovereign was once a mighty Roman emperor before his death. He was vain and arrogant. His narcissism was such that he had multitudes of artists craft stone statues in his image, one of which was composed of a radioactive meteor which fell from the sky and which cost the lives of several craftsmen to shape. He was also extremely vindictive and vengeful, something he retained in the 21st Century.
The Sovereign was intellectually brilliant, having accumulated wealth and political power both in Hell and on Earth.
Powers & Abilities[]
The Sovereign was endowed with supernatural powers due to his privileged position in Hell.
- Immortality - Because he lacked a human body, The Sovereign did not age and was not subject to any other biological weakness.
- Superhuman Strength - The Sovereign was very physically powerful. He sent Leonard Kim into the camera screens with great force, shattering the screens. With one hand he could hoist a grown man off the ground by the throat and choke him with no effort or strain. While inside his giant form, his strength was enough to possibly shatter stone.
- Superhuman Stamina - His solid bodies were tireless.
- Advanced Intelligence - The Sovereign was highly intelligent. He used everything at his disposal; worldly wealth, physical power, and deception to achieve his plans.
- Limited Invulnerability - His stone or bronze bodies made him nearly impervious to things such as gunfire and other conventional weapons. He was unaffected by fire and extreme cold. Only supernaturally strong beings could use weapons such as swords and even a shovel do damage his stone bodies. Even then it would take significant damage that destroyed or decapitated him to cause him to leave his body to find a new one. He did not need to eat, sleep, or breathe to sustain himself, nor did he feel physical pain.
- White Light - The Sovereign could glow with a bright white light.
- Possession - The Sovereign could take possession of any stone or bronze effigy bearing his likeness. He could take possession of an entire army of statues simultaneously to battle multiple opponents. He could speak, move, talk, and possessed his senses of sight and hearing while in these forms.
- Radioactivity - One of The Sovereign's bodies was carved from a star. It was radioactive and glowed with enough light to banish away Darkness armor and scorch away human tissue.
- Expert Swordsman - As a former warrior and king, The Sovereign was a proficient swordsman with millennia of experience in the art.
