Mephisto is a powerful Demon Lord. He manipulated the Silver Surfer into reconstructing an alien ship that would allow Mephisto to travel to other dimensions. His goal was to seduce Sara Pezzini into being his queen.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Immortality - Mephisto is ancient and is not subject to the passing of time.
- Heat Immunity - Mephisto is unaffected by extreme heat, such as the fires of Hell.
- Shape-Shifting - Mephisto can alter his appearance and clothing. He transformed into a Catholic priest to deceive humans. He took on the form of Ian Nottingham to lure Sarah.
- Astral Projection - Mephisto can project his senses and consciousness outside of his physical body and even into other dimensions.
- Flight - Mephisto is not subject to gravity.
- Voice Mimicry - Mephisto can change his otherworldy voice to imitate that of a human. He was able to imitate Ian's voice.
- Clairvoyance - Mephisto can see into other dimensions.
- Precognition - Mephisto was able to see into the possible future.
- Size Augmentation - Mephisto can alter his size and mass to either human-sized or giant.
- Matter Manipulation - Mephisto can summon and reassimilate matter.
- Telekinesis - Mephisto can move and animate objects with only his will.
- Reality Warping - Mephisto can alter physical reality. With a clap of his hands, he can alter a person's clothing. He created a whole and large park with large luxurious buildings and sanctuaries.
- Technopathy - Mephisto was able to reconstruct and operate an alien ship through sheer force of will.
- Demon Creation - Mephisto can create legions of low-level demons to serve him.
- Teleportation - Mephisto can travel from Hell to Earth with ease.
- Corruption - Mephisto's presence on Earth corrupted weak-willed humans in the area and drive them to sin. Humans with strong willpower are immune to this ability.
- Expert Swordsman - Mephisto is skilled in swordplay.
