Daria is a powerful succubus witch spawned from the ill-begotten union of the Archdemon Botis and a human woman, the latter of whom was left permanently comatose from the encounter. Trained by Gideon the Dragonslayer - a knight of Arthurian myth - to take up his mantle as a soldier against otherworldly evils, Daria betrayed and murdered her mentor before setting her sights on unleashing and enslaving Butcher Knight in hopes of using his urge to feed on evil to kill the dread wizard Merlin, her own uncle, and usurp his power to restore her mother and destroy her father.
This crusade led her to cross paths with Jackie Estacado - siphoning a portion of his power through her powers of seduction - and subsequently earning the attention of both Sara Pezzini and Lara Croft; ultimately leading her to release the imprisoned gargoyle Butcher Knight and flee for Ruby, California.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Born sometime in 1980, Daria was the unfortunate end result of Botis, the Duke of Terror, raping and impregnating one of Gideon the Dragonslayer’s young students. The exact details of the encounter remain unknown; such as whether it was a summoning ritual gone wrong, if her mother had intentionally conjured the creature to make a Faustian pact, or if Gideon himself or some other party involved had called the demon to the earthly plane for reasons unclear.
Raising her as his own after the trauma of giving birth left her mother hospitalized, Gideon - now going by “the Master” - endeavored to train the newborn half-demon into becoming his successor. Her earliest recorded reunion with her mother was when she was five; with the Master allowing her to visit his former student in the hospital. Although unresponsive, Daria noted that her mother was very pretty.
At some point in time, she attended a public school where she tutored under a teacher by the name of Miss Peeve while in third grade; the former of whom she noted as being mean to her and having a deep disliking towards.
Trained by a Master[]
A grueling tutor, the Master wasted no time in training the girl; having her do rigorous exercise routines and study sessions even at such an early age. As she matured, these studies only deepened her resentment of the Master. Additionally, the absence of a proper parental figure in her life only worsened her neglected development, such as when she went swimming at twelve years old and experienced her first menstrual period while in the water; causing everyone there to laugh at her as she had no prior knowledge of her own body or social norms.
Personality[]
A ruthless hedonist with no regard for anyone else, Daria’s only concern is the restoration of her mother’s sanity and the destruction of her demonic father. Having preyed on men for the entirety of her adult life to feed her demonic urges, Daria - most likely with the aid of subtle supernatural enchantment - is a flawless and promiscuous seductress who enjoys taking advantage of her victims.

- Advanced Dread Magician: Being a child of Hell’s royalty - a direct descendant of Satan himself - Daria wields a far more potent form of dread magic than most witches and wizards; being the most chaotic school of thaumaturgy that allows her to draw upon the raw energies of the unhallowed afterlife - fueled by the souls of the dead - to perform numerous feats that pervert the laws of nature to her will.
- Telekinesis: Daria was seen levitating porcelain plates during her training sessions with the Master.
- Portal Conjuration: Daria was able to summon her father - an Archduke of Hell - and bind him in a pentecostal circle of stones before banishing him back. She had to channel the Sword of Lucifer to achieve this, so this power was largely dependant on its presence.
- Bestial Shapeshifting: Daria assumed the form of a fox to escape her first encounter with Merlin.
- Witchfire Expulsion: Darian can expel powerful blasts of eldritch flame from her body; either concentrated into her hands like a flamethrower to attack a singular opponent or a burst of fiery circles exploding from her body like a condensed supernova to ward off or incinerate numerous assailants.
- Soul Consumption: Being a succubus, Daria can assimilate the very essence of a victim’s life force through sexual encounters. She describes it in her diary as “something hungry” that reaches out to men who put themselves inside her; swallowing her partner’s soul through his urethra and leaving them as aged husks.
- Power Absorption: Through her soul absorption ability, Daria was able to consume a large portion of the Darkness curse from inside Jackie Estacado; giving her command over his Darklings and robbing him of the lion’s share of his power - leaving him with only a basic connection to the curse that allowed them to sense each other’s presence.
- Spectral Reading: Daria is able to see into a person’s soul purely at first glance; able to determine what kind of person they are and if they’ve committed any crimes such as murder or rape. She used this power to track down Jackie Estacado; sensing the Darkness within him and describing it as “a bottomless pit of living darkness” coming out of his pores.

- Insufficient Focus: If she’s not focused enough, her power will fail her.
- Finite Dread Force: Despite her royal blood as one of Hell’s nobility, Daria is three generations removed from Lucifer himself; meaning that - although far more powerful than any other witch or wizard of lesser lineage - she lacks the overwhelming reserves of magic needed to heal her mother’s soul. Even with the Sword of Lucifer and the Key of Solomon at her disposal, she still needed Butcher Knight to hunt down and kill Merlin - the Devil’s own son - to inherit his greater reserves of power.

- The Sword of Lucifer: Allegedly belonging to her grandfather during his rebellion against God, the Sword acts as a conduit for her own Hell-born power and that of the Pit itself; drawing energy from the afterlife to further bolster her own reserves of dread magic. This allows her to cast more potent spells like those needed to summon and bind her father - even potentially killing him - or the spell needed to free Butcher Knight from his entombment at Notre Dame.
Paraphernalia[]
- The Key of Solomon: A grimoire originally belonging to King Solomon of Israel, the book contains advanced spells necessary to combat demons of a higher order such as an archduke. Daria assumingly used the spells contained within this book to summon her father, binding him in place.
Trivia[]
- While she’s seen indulging her taste for chocolate and champagne, she notes in her diary that she hates broccoli and buttermilk.
- She shares the same vivid red hair as her uncle and her father, implying that Satan himself would have red hair. Due to continuity inconsistencies, Nick - the alias the Devil used during his correspondences with Tom Judge during the events of Universe - has black hair in both his human and original form.
